The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ The Beneficent Allah, 1 Hath taught the Qur'an. 2 has created man, 3 [And] taught him eloquence. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 And the herbs and the trees do prostrate (to Him). 6 And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice), 7 Do not transgress the scales. 8 Give just weight and do not skimp the scales. 9 And the earth, He has set it for living creatures; 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 And also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-scented plants. 12 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery, 14 and He created the jinn of a smokeless fire. 15 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 16 He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. 17 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 18 He has set the two oceans in motion, converging together. 19 Whereas there is a barrier between them so they cannot encroach upon one another. 20 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 21 From the two oceans comes pearls and coral. 22 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 23 By His command, the ships with raised masts sail on the sea like mountains. 24 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 25

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
