The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass, 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 It will abase some and exalt others. 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 and a few from later times. 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 like hidden pearls, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 Except the word peace, peace. 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 and extended shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and fruits abounding 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And raised couches; 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 And made them virgins. 36 Lovers, friends, 37 with those who have attained to righteousness: 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
