Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what you do not see 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.
