NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 it is a warning to man, 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
