۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
