The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
