Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 And We have exalted your remembrance for you. 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
