Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who denied the Book and what We sent with Our Noble Messengers; so they will soon come to know. – 70 When the fetters and chains are on their necks, and they dragged 71 In boiling water; they will then be ignited* in the fire. (Like fuel – see verse 2:24) 72 Then shall it be said to them: "Where are the (deities) to which ye gave part-worship- 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna and live there for ever. Evil is the lodging of the proud. 76 Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And whether we let thee see a part of that which We promise them, or (whether) We cause thee to die, still unto Us they will be brought back. 77 Assuredly We have sent apostles before thee, of them are these whose story We have recounted unto thee and these whose story We have not recounted unto thee. And it was not possible for any apostle that he should bring a sign save by Allah's leave. So when the commade of Allah cometh, judgment will be given with truth, and then will lose the followers of falsehood. 78
