Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The Indubitable! 1 and what is the Resurrection Verifier? 2 What makes you to know what the Resurrection Verifier is? 3 The Thamud and the 'Ad People (branded) as false the Stunning Calamity! 4 Then the Thamud were destroyed by an awesome upheaval; 5 And the 'Ad, they were destroyed by a furious Wind, exceedingly violent; 6 Which Allah imposed on them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so that you could see men lying overthrown (destroyed), as if they were hollow trunks of date-palms! 7 Then do you see of them any remains? 8 Pharaoh likewise, and those before him, and the Subverted Cities -- they committed error, 9 And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, therefor did He grip them with a tightening grip. 10 Lo, when the waters rose, We bore you in the running ship 11 That We might make it unto you an admonition, and that it might be retained by the retaining ears. 12 With the first blast of sound from the trumpet, 13 and the earth and the mountains are lifted up and then crushed with a single blow, 14 So that is the day when the forthcoming event will occur. 15 And the sky will be rent asunder, for it will that Day be flimsy, 16 And the angels shall be on the borders thereof; and on that Day eight shall bear over them the Throne of thy Lord. 17 On that day all your secrets will be exposed. 18 Then as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand will say: "Take, read my Record! 19 Indeed, I knew that I should come to my reckoning' 20 And so he will find himself in a happy state of life, 21 In a Garden lofty. 22 with fruits within easy reach. 23 Such people will be told, "Eat and drink with pleasure as the reward for what you did in the past". 24 But as for him who is given his book in his left hand, he shall say, 'Would that I had not been given my book 25 and that we would never knew what our records contained. 26 Would that it (my death) had ended it all! 27 "My wealth has not availed me, 28 and my authority has been destroyed' 29 The angels will be told, "Seize and chain them, 30 Then cast him into the burning fire, 31 And string him to a chain seventy cubits long. 32 Surely he did not believe in Allah, the Great, 33 And urged not on the feeding of Al-Miskin (the poor), 34 Therefor hath he no lover here this day, 35 and the only food he has is filth 36 "Which none do eat but those in sin." 37

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
