Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that day, people will come out of their graves in different groups to see (the results of) their own deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
