The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
