To whoever We give a long life We make him stoop. Do they not understand? 68 We have not taught (Muhammad) to versify, nor is it worthy of him. This is nothing but a reminder and illuminating discourse, 69 To warn the living*, and to prove the Word against disbelievers. (Only the believers are deemed alive in Allah’s sight.) 70 Do they not see that We have created for them of what Our Hands have created, the cattle, so that they are their owners. 71 We have subdued them to them, and some of them they ride, and some they eat; 72 They derive a variety of benefits and drinks from them. Will they, then, not give thanks? 73 They chose idols besides God in the hope of receiving help from them, but they will not be able to help them. 74 Instead, the disbelievers will be brought into the presence of God as the soldiers of the idols. 75 Muhammad, let not their words annoy you. We certainly know whatever they conceal or reveal. 76 Has the human being not considered that We have created him from a drop of fluid. He is openly quarrelsome. 77 And he has struck for Us a similitude and forgotten his creation; he says, 'Who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed?' 78 Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing." 79 He who produces fire for you from green trees and from this you kindle fire." 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of these? Yea! He is the Supreme Creator, the Knower. 81 And His only task when He intends a thing is to command it, “Be” and it thereupon happens! 82 Limitless, then, in His glory is He in whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things; and unto Him you all will be brought back! 83
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
