Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Quran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 Surely We know that which the earth consumeth of them, and with Us is a Book preserved. 4 Nay, but they [who refuse to believe in resurrection] have been wont to give the lie to this truth whenever it was proffered to them; and so they are in a state of confusion. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We send down water as a blessing from the sky, and grow gardens with it and the grain for harvest, 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Are We then wearied with the first creation? Aye! they are in dubiety regarding a new creation. 15
