Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
