Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And all that ye see not 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And surely it is an admonition to the God-fearing. 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
