Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble scribes, 11 Who know what you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
