Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
