When your Lord called upon Moses: "Go to the wicked people, 10 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?" 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 “I feel hesitant, and my tongue does not speak fast, therefore make Haroon also a Noble Messenger.” 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 Allah said: "By no means! proceed then, both of you, with Our Signs; We are with you, and will listen (to your call). 15 Then come to Firon and say: Surely we are the apostles of the Lord of the worlds: 16 Send forth with us the Children of Israel' 17 He said, 'Did we not raise thee amongst us as a child? Didst thou not tarry among us years of thy life? 18 And you did (that) deed of yours which you did, and you are one of the ungrateful. 19 Said he, 'Indeed I did it then, being one of those that stray; 20 I fled from you because I feared you. But my Lord has given me judgment and made me one of the Messengers. 21 "And this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel!" 22 The Pharaoh asked: "And what is the Lord of all the worlds?" 23 [Moses] answered: "[He is] the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them: if you would but [allow yourselves to] be convinced!" 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 [Pharaoh] said, "Indeed, your 'messenger' who has been sent to you is mad." 27 [Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason." 28 Said [Pharaoh]: "Indeed, if thou choose to worship any deity other than me, I shall most certainly throw thee into prison! 29 and Moses asked, "Even if I show you a clear sign?" 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 Then he cast down his staff, and lo! it was a serpent manifest. 32 and he drew his hand (out of his armpit) and lo! it had become a shining object to the beholders. 33
