The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
