Believers, obey God and His Messengers and do not turn away from Him when you hear (His commands). 20 And do not be like those who said, “We have heard”, whereas they do not hear. 21 ۞ the worst creatures in God's eyes are those who are deaf and dumb, and who possess no understanding. 22 Had Allah known of any good in them He would have made them hear, but had He made them hear they would have turned away, averse. 23 Believers, respond to Allah and the Messenger when he calls you to that which revives you. Know that Allah is between the person and his heart, and that toHim you shall all be gathered. 24 And be cautious against a sedition that will not smite the harmdoers alone. Know that the punishment of Allah is Stern. 25 And remember when you were few, deemed weak in the land, fearing lest people might carry you off by force, but He sheltered you and strengthened you with His aid and gave you of the good things that you may give thanks. 26 O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence]. 27 Know that your children and your wealth are but a temptation, and that the reward with Allah is great. 28
