O ye messengers! enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But then they divided up their order into different creeds, each section rejoicing in what it had come to have. 53 Therefore leave them in their overwhelming ignorance till 54 Do they imagine that the wealth and children We have provided 55 We hasten unto them with good things (in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter)? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Surely those who stand in awe for fear of their Lord, 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 Who do not associate any one with their Lord, 59 and those who give what they give, their hearts quaking that they are returning to their Lord -- 60 These hasten to good things and they are foremost in (attaining) them. 61 And We do not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent of its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. 62 Yet their hearts are oblivious of this; and besides, they are busy with other things, 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 waxing proud against it, talking foolish talk by night.' 67 Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? 68 Or do they not recognise their Messenger, that they deny him? 69 Or do they say: "There is madness in him"? Nay, he has brought them the truth - and the truth do most of them detest! 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But the reward of your Lord is best, and He is the best of providers. 72 and, most surely, you are calling them to a straight path. 73 And most surely those who do not believe in the hereafter are deviating from the way. 74 ۞ If We took compassion on them and removed the affliction they are in, they would only wander lost in confusion. 75 And indeed, We tested them through suffering, but they did not abase themselves before their Sustainer; and they will never humble themselves 76 until We open before them a gate of harsh punishment and then they will be dumbfounded. 77
