Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, "Do you not fear?" 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah - Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
