Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7
