Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 [And God will say:] "Were not My messages conveyed unto you, and were you [not] wont to give them the lie?" 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
