Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
