▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
