Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ By the Day of Resurrection, 1 No! I swear by the reproachful soul! 2 Deemest man that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers! 4 But man would fain deny what is before him. 5 He asketh: When will be this Day of Resurrection? 6 So when vision is dazzled 7 And the moon is buried in darkness. 8 And the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 on that Day will man say: “Whither the refuge?” 10 Certainly not! There will be no place of refuge. 11 Unto your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day. 12 Man will be apprised, on that Day, of what he has done and what he has left undone: 13 But lo, man is well aware of himself, 14 And even if he presents all the excuses he has, none will be listened to. 15 Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) to make haste therewith. 16 Surely its collection and recitation are Our responsibility. 17 Wherefore when We recite it, follow thou the reciting thereof. 18 Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear): 19 None except you, O disbelievers – you love what you have, the fleeting one. 20 and neglect the Hereafter. 21 Upon that day faces shall be radiant, 22 gazing towards their Lord. 23 And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal, 24 knowing that a crushing calamity is about to befall them. 25 Nay; when a man's soul reaches up to the throat, 26 And men say: Where is the wizard (who can save him now)? 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 and when leg is intertwined with leg, 29 To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession. 30
