The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 (Preserved) on the guarded tablet. 22
