The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the snorting courses, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
