And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
