The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8
