The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 (It is ordained that) no village We have destroyed shall return 95 Until, when Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound. 96 and nigh has drawn the true promise, and behold, the eyes of the unbelievers staring: 'Alas for us! We were heedless of this; 'nay, we were evildoers.' 97 “Indeed you* and all that you worship** besides Allah, are the fuel of hell; in it you must go.” (* All disbelievers ** Idols and disbelievers who claimed to be Gods. The Prophets like Eisa and Uzair who were worshipped are exempt from this, and so are Maryam, and trees and the moon etc.) 98 Had these indeed been gods they would not have gone there. But (as it is), all of you shall ever abide in it." 99 There is groaning for them therein, and they do not hear. 100 But those who have been promised a good reward by Us will be kept far away from Hell -- 101 no sound thereof will they hear; and they will abide in all that their souls have ever desired. 102 The greatest terror shall not grieve them, and the angels will receive them: 'This is the Day you have been promised' 103 (This will happen) on the day when We roll up the heavens as if it were a written scroll and bring it back into existence just as though We had created it for the first time. This is what We have promised and We have always been true to Our promise. 104 We had prescribed in the Book of Psalms after the reminder and admonition, that those of Our creatures who are good will in the end rule the earth. 105 Verily there is a message in this for people who are devout. 106 We have sent you forth as a mercy to all mankind. 107 Say: 'It is revealed unto me only that your God is One God; do you then surrender?' 108 Then if they turn away, proclaim, “I have proclaimed a war against you on equal terms; and what do I know whether the promise which is given to you, is close or far?” 109 "It is He Who knows what is open in speech and what ye hide (in your hearts). 110 I do not know if this be a trial for you, or a little advantage for a while." 111 "Judge in truth (between us), O Lord," he said. "Our Lord is merciful, whose help we seek against what you attribute." 112
