۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
