A multitude of those (on the Right Hand) will be from the first generation (who embraced Islam). 39 And a company of the later peoples. 40 And those on the left - how are those on the left! 41 They will live amid the scorching, 42 in the shadow of a smoking blaze, 43 neither cool nor refreshing. 44 Surely they had lived before in luxury, 45 And they used to persist in the great violation, 46 And they were wont to say: when we have died and become dust and bones, shall we, then, verily be raised? 47 "And also our forefathers?" 48 Say, "Indeed, the earlier ones and the later ones 49 Will all be brought together to the tryst of an appointed day. 50 Then you, the erring ones and those that gave the lie to the Truth, 51 you will indeed have to taste of the tree of deadly fruit, 52 And will fill your bellies therewith; 53 and drink boiling water on top of that, 54 And drink as drinks the thirsty camel. 55 This is their entertainment on the day of requital. 56 We have created you, so why do you not believe? 57 Have ye seen that which ye emit? 58 Is it you who create it - or are We the source of its creation? 59 We have decreed Death to be your common lot, and We are not to be frustrated 60 In order that We may bring in your place the likes of you and make you grow into what you know not. 61 And ye certainly know already the first form of creation: why then do ye not celebrate His praises? 62 Ponder upon the soil you till, 63 Is it you that cause it to grow, or are We the causers of growth? 64 If We so wished, We could have reduced your harvest to rubble, and you would have been left wonder-struck to exclaim: 65 Lo! we are laden with debt! 66 Nay, but we are deprived! 67 Have you ever considered the water which you drink? 68 Is it you who sent it down from the clouds or is it We who have sent it down? 69 If We willed We verily could make it bitter. Why then, give ye not thanks? 70 And have you seen the fire that you ignite? 71 Is it you who have produced its tree or is it We who have produced it? 72 We have made it as a reminder of hell and as a utility for travellers in the jungle. 73 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 74

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of four Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-fourth chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
