The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 and the brooding night! 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
