Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 We have destroyed so many generations before them, who surpassed them in material power and splendour. 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 But they shall reject their worship and turn against them. 82
