Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 So truly with hardship comes ease, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So, whenever you are free, strive in devotion, 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
