Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them Clear Evidence,- 1 (The clear proof is) the Noble Messenger from Allah, who reads the pure pages. 2 in which there are valuable Books. 3 Nor were the People of the Scripture divided until after the clear proof came unto them. 4 And they were ordered only to worship Allah, believing purely in Him – devoted solely (to Him), and to establish the prayer and to pay the obligatory charity – and this is the straight religion. 5 Those of the deniers of truth among the People of the Book and the polytheists will dwell forever in Hell-fire. They are the worst of creatures. 6 The righteously striving believers are the best of all creatures. 7 Their reward [awaits them] with God: gardens of perpetual bliss, through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time; well-pleased is God with them, and well-pleased are they with Him: all this awaits him who of his Sustainer stands in awe!. 8
