When We substitute one revelation for another, and God knows best what He reveals, they say, "You are but a fabricator." Indeed, most of them have no knowledge. 101 Say: 'The Holy Spirit sent it down from thy Lord in truth, and to confirm those who believe, and to be a guidance and good tidings to those who surrender.' 102 And certainly We know that they say: Only a mortal teaches him. The tongue of him whom they reproach is barbarous, and this is clear Arabic tongue. 103 Those that believe not in the signs of God, God will not guide; there awaits them a painful chastisement. 104 It is only those who believe not in the signs of Allah who fabricate lie, and those! they are the liars. 105 Whoso disbelieves in God, after he has believed -- excepting him who has been compelled, and his heart is still at rest in his belief -- but whosoever's breast is expanded in unbelief, upon them shall rest anger from God, and there awaits them a mighty chastisement; 106 That is because they have chosen the life of the world rather than the Hereafter, and because Allah guideth not the disbelieving folk. 107 Those -- God has set a seal on their hearts, and their hearing, and their eyes, and those -- they are the heedless ones; 108 Truly it is they, they who in the life to come shall be the losers! 109 ۞ Then lo! thy Lord - for those who became fugitives after they had been persecuted, and then fought and were steadfast - lo! thy Lord afterward is (for them) indeed Forgiving, Merciful. 110
