Nay, and by the moon, 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 a warning to mortal man 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
