The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
