Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 He will soon enter the flaming fire. 3 and his wife, the carrier of the firewood, 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
