The unbelievers say: 'We will not believe in this Koran, nor in (the Books) that were before it' If you could only see the harmdoers when they are brought before their Lord! They will argue against each other. Those who had been abased will say to those who were proud: 'But for you, we would have been believers' 31 Those that waxed proud will say to those that were abased, 'What, did we bar you from the guidance after it came to you? Nay, rather you were sinners.' 32 Those who were deemed weak will say to those who were arrogant: "Nay, but it was your plotting by night and day, when you ordered us to disbelieve in Allah and set up rivals to Him!" And each of them (parties) will conceal their own regrets (for disobeying Allah during this worldly life), when they behold the torment. And We shall put iron collars round the necks of those who disbelieved. Are they requited aught except what they used to do? 33 We never sent an admonisher to a habitation but its well-to-do people said: "We do not believe in what you have brought." 34 They always said: “We have more wealth and children than you have, and we shall not be chastised.” 35 Say thou: verily my Lord expandeth the provision for whomsoever He will and stinteth it; but most of mankind know not. 36
