Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11

Almighty God's Truth.
