O Prophet, say to thy wives and daughters and the believing women, that they draw their veils close to them; so it is likelier they will be known, and not hurt. God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts there is a sickness, and the scandal mongers in Madinah do not desist from their vile acts, We shall urge you to take action against them, and then they will hardly be able to stay in the city with you. 60 cursed wherever they are found, they will be seized and put to death. 61 That was the way of Allah in the case of those who passed away of old; thou wilt not find for the way of Allah aught of power to change. 62 People ask you regarding the Last Day; proclaim, “Its knowledge is only with Allah; and what do you know, the Last Day may really be near!” 63 Surely Allah has cursed the unbelievers and has prepared for them a burning fire, 64 In which they will remain forever; in it they will find neither a protector nor any supporter. 65 On the Day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they shall say: "Oh, would that we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Messenger!" 66 And they say: Our Lord! Lo! we obeyed our princes and great men, and they misled us from the Way. 67 Our Lord! give them double torment and curse them with a great curse. 68
