Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a straight path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
