BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 As though they were rubies and pearls. 58 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 67 Therein will be fruits and dates and pomegranates. 68 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets. 76 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 78
