Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 storming tempestuously 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
