The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
