The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
